F16 is the brainchild of Sandro Ferri and Paola Balsotti. Armed with thirty years experience in the design and manufacture of women’s shoes for Italian and international brands, in 2016 decided to give life to their brand. Sandro and Paola work immersed in the hills between Florence and Siena, near the medieval town of Certaldo, and it is from this suggestive territory that take their ideas and raw materials. Thanks to the nearness of Santa Croce Sull’Arno, leather tanning center of excellence, PF16 has acquired the most complex and artisan leather processing techniques, first of all the ‘dyeing’ run on genuine leathers with natural finishings. All leathers used are used in ‘crust’ and are processed in the shoe finished by buffing it with sponge or dipping in color; this manufacturing process is highly crafted and requires a complex realization. Tuscany itself paints PF16 palettes. A land made of curved and sinuous lines, it is defined by changing and harmonious colors: perfect in all seasons of the year. Convenience and immediacy of use are two key features of the PF16 collections, heels and comfortable shapes that make the ideal footwear to wear at all times of the day.
