Interpretation of Italian style.

It is the sixties when Mr. Giuseppe Milazzi makes use of his experience as a tailor and together with his wife Adriana he establishes a laboratory for the production of swimwear. In full economic boom, Maristella Mare stands out among the realities of the oleggese district producing the collections of the most famous brands. In the eighties the entrance of the second generation - the daughters Maria Luisa, Antonella and Stefania Milazzi - marks a turning point for Maristella Mare, with the creation of its own fashion line and an innovative collection tailored to the needs of different types of women: proposals that reflect the quality and style of the best Made in Italy and rewarded by the preferences of the many Italian and foreign customers. In 2003 the Olivia brand debuts, a fresh and contemporary beachwear that combines the refinement of prints with great attention to fitting: different sizes and models can be coordinated across the entire range, including a limited edition of hand-painted handcrafted items. Two years later, Maristella Mare offers a further interpretation of Italian style with Olivia Gold: bras up to cup E and briefs with more opaque designs, for a niche market that ranges from the adult consumer looking for a fashion and modern style to to young customers with specific wearability needs. Today the Olivia and Olivia Gold brands are positioned with an excellent sell-out in the best Italian high-end stores, ready for the big step towards the most prestigious international markets.
