Lots of handmade garments.

The acronym stands for Via delle perle (VDP), the luxury brand strictly Made in Italy that is conquering the emerging markets of the Middle East as well as the States of the former Soviet Union and the States. Testifying to its success are the numbers: in 2015, turnover will approach 40 million euros, of which exports will reach around 70%, although there will continue to be a strategic development on the Italian market, the home of the brand founded in Carpi in the 1984. Christian Blanken, creative director in charge of VDP since January of this year has a multi-stylistic education: he begins his stage at the "court" of John Galliano, then works for Michael Kors and Diane von Furstenberg and counts in his many years of experience as creative director of the Max & Co collections at the Max Mara group. We ask him about the success of the brand: "A great product quality, with lots of handmade items still in a traditional way, in addition to a constant search for detail are the added value of this brand. In recent years VDP has conquered the Chinese and Russian markets, as well as being landed in Quwait, Dubai and Saudi Arabia where the third boutique will soon open. 2015 is also the year of the United States, where the brand debuted in July with the aim of including its collections in more than 200 luxury multi-brand stores.
