Estro and innovation.

Missoni is the luxury brand of men's and women's clothing and accessories, born in the first half of the 50s and produced by the couple formed by Ottavio Missoni and Rosita Jelmini. At the beginning of the 50s the Jelmini family owned a factory of shawls and embroidered fabrics in Golasecca, in the province of Varese, and Missoni had just opened a knitwear workshop in Trieste. The two get married starting together a new knitwear workshop in Gallarate. In 1960 the Missoni dresses began to appear in fashion magazines and two years later the worldwide success of the label was decreed thanks to the innovative use of the "Rachel" sewing machine. Born for shawls, Rachel is used in the creation of clothes that take on a new color and light look.
