Sir Henry Cotton loved the luxurious lifestyle: champagne, Rolls Royce and custom-made Italian clothes were his passion. He often had the opportunity to stay in Italy, managing to capture its essence and then transfer it to his look. 1978 is the year in which the first Henry Cotton's total look collection with the Anglo-American taste is presented. In 1980, the Henry Cotton's brand was registered for the first time and, shortly thereafter, in 1983, the classic logo will be joined by the three fishermen who still today represent the hallmark of the brand. The Henry Cotton's brand conquers the Japanese and Korean markets, obtaining an immediate and extraordinary success. More than 100 openings will follow at the first single-brand store in Tokyo. During the new decade Henry Cotton's strengthens its national and international presence by entering new markets in Asia and Eastern Europe: they open their first single-brand stores in Venice, Paris, Moscow and Shanghai.
